In this part of the backup setup, users can choose to compress their data using 64-bit Zip compression and encrypt via highly secure 256 bit AES military encryption.<\/p>\n

To enable compression:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. In the\u00a0Setup wizard<\/a>, go to Step 3.<\/li>\n
  2. Mark the checkbox\u00a0Enable Compression<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Click\u00a0Next<\/strong>\u00a0to proceed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To enable security:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. In the\u00a0Setup wizard<\/a>, go to Step 3.<\/li>\n
    2. Mark the checkbox\u00a0Enable Encryption<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Type the encryption password and retype the password for confirmation.\u00a0<\/em>It is recommended to select a strong\u00a0Encryption Password<\/a>\u00a0for better protection.<\/li>\n
    4. (Optional) Mark the checkbox Encrypt\u00a0File Names<\/strong> if you wish to have all backed up file names ciphered.<\/li>\n
    5. Click\u00a0Next<\/strong>\u00a0to proceed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
