Although Genie Timeline runs automatically in the background, users can control the backup process by pausing and resuming backup. If a user pauses a backup while Genie Timeline is currently backing up a file, Genie Timeline will continue backing up where it left off.<\/p>\n

To Pause the Backup<\/strong><\/p>\n

Method 1:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Right click the System Tray Agent<\/a> located by your system clock.<\/li>\n
  2. Click Pause.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Method 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Open Dashboard<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    2. Click Pause<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      To Resume the Backup<\/strong><\/p>\n
