{"id":7205,"date":"2013-11-11T14:14:42","date_gmt":"2013-11-11T14:14:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gtlwiki.genie9.com\/?p=7205"},"modified":"2013-11-25T08:57:25","modified_gmt":"2013-11-25T08:57:25","slug":"schedule-backup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helpftl.backup119.jp\/index.php\/schedule-backup\/","title":{"rendered":"Schedule Backup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Backup Schedule<\/strong> is located under Tools \u2192 <b>Advanced Settings<\/b> in the <a title=\"Genie Timeline Dashboard\" href=\"http:\/\/gtlwiki.genie9.com\/index.php\/genie-timeline-dashboard\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dashboard,<\/a> and enables users to set when Genie Timeline should perform backups.<\/p>\n<p>Users can either choose one of the following scheduling \u00a0modes:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><strong>Use Genie IntelliCDP:<\/strong> This mode will run as an adaptive Continuous Data Protection (CDP) approach, where small files that constantly change will be backed up more often than larger files.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use a specific backup interval:<\/strong> All files will be taken at the same interval set in the combo box.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Run on Schedule:<\/strong> Set at what time and day(s) for the backup to run. Users also have the option to shutdown, sleep, or hibernate the computer via <b>after Genie Timeline completes <\/b>option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Schedule the backup to run at a specific interval:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Open the <a title=\"Genie Timeline Dashboard\" href=\"http:\/\/gtlwiki.genie9.com\/index.php\/genie-timeline-dashboard\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dashboard<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Tools<\/strong>, select <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Backup Schedule.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Use a specific backup interval<\/strong><b>, <\/b>use the combo-box right by <strong>Run every<\/strong> to select the exact interval.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong><b> <\/b>to save your changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>To Schedule the backup to run on a specific time and day(s):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Open the <a title=\"Genie Timeline Dashboard\" href=\"http:\/\/gtlwiki.genie9.com\/index.php\/genie-timeline-dashboard\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dashboard<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Tools<\/strong>, select <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Backup Schedule.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Run on Schedule<\/strong><b>, <\/b>select the time and days you wish to run the backup on.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong> to save your changes.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Backup Schedule is located under Tools \u2192 Advanced Settings in the Dashboard, and enables users to set when Genie Timeline should perform backups.
