When you install Genie Timeline on a new machine or Windows installation. Genie Timeline gives you the option to import your backup.

To Import the Backup

1. Install Genie Timeline
2. In the First Time Wizard Welcome Screen, click Import Backup
3. Browse for the drive/destination that has the older backup, or browse for the _Genie Timeline folder or the renamed backup folder.
4. If there is more than one backup on the drive/destination, Genie Timeline will load the backups that are on the location to select from the list.
5. Click OK and Genie Timeline will import and proceed backing up your new and changed files

Note: This feature is only available in Genie Timeline 2014. If you are using a previous version, please upgrade to the latest before moving to your new machine or Windows installation
